MEET OUR
GET OUT!
GRANT WINNERS
Grants are one of the ways that EVOLVE Advice gives back to schools – we use
money raised through activities such as The EVC Magazine, our national conference
and easyfundraising to help you Get Out! more. We reveal this year’s winners and
find out how five schools used last year’s funding to give their students some
amazing experiences.
Every year, EVOLVE Advice
awards Get Out! Grants of £500
to 12 schools, to fund off-site
visits for their students. The
money can be used for travel
and activity costs and for
specialist equipment or training
– whatever your school needs
most. Read on to find out what
a difference this grant can
make to your students.
Jake Wiid of
EVOLVE Advice says:
"It’s wonderful to see the
difference that our Get
Out! Grants have made.
Having those extra funds
can inspire all kinds of
adventures and, crucially,
give children access
to new experiences
that they may not have
otherwise had. We can’t
wait to hear what our
latest winners do with
their grants!"

CAMELY PRIMARY SCHOOL, BRISTOL
Year 6 resident

to London
"Our ride on the London Eye was a test of
courage for those afraid of heights!"
SWINDON ACADEMY, WILTSHIRE
Year 8 five-day camp
"The camp was full of new experiences
– for many it was their first night away
from home… and under canvas.
Students went on a night walk,
spent a day on the beach and disco-danced in the
woods with their friends. But most importantly our
campers got to breathe the fresh country air and create
memories that will last them a lifetime."
