If you’re trying somewhere new, you
need to be confident that the visit will
be worth the cost and effort and will
meet your expectations, so ask the
right questions.
Always check that a venue or
provider can demonstrate its
commitment to safety and quality
in its operations.
Finally, shared knowledge is hugely
useful – so ask around!

system, Kaddi is a free online platform where you can search for
school trip destinations. Each entry includes reviews written by
a verified visit leader, offering valuable insights, opinions and
the fine details that really help when deciding on a provider.
Kaddi currently has 4,600 listings, ranging from major
operators to smaller niche organisations offering specialised
activities. You can search by location, subject, activity, age
range and LOtC Quality Badge status, or browse a map to see
what’s available.
As well as researching specific providers or venues, you can
roam around the site and dip into listings to inspire new ideas
and enrich your own visits. Registering (for free) lets you save
searches and share with others to help you put the case for
your next visit.
