For the third year running, EVOLVE Advice is offering
12 grants of £500 to support schools and educational
settings with their educational visits.
Get Out! Grants are funded by EVOLVE Advice, with
contributions from advertising revenue in The EVC
Magazine and at the National Educational Visits
Conference. It’s part of our commitment to giving back
to our schools community.
Grants are available to all school and education settings
including nurseries, early years, primary, secondary,
further education, alternative provision and special
schools in mainstream education, academy trusts and
the independent sector.
WHAT MAKES A WINNING APPLICATION?
To be in with a good chance of receiving a grant, you’ll
need to meet the criteria and submit a compelling
application. Last year we received 173 applications for 12
grants, so it’s important to think about how you’ll make
your application stand out.
Some of our favourite applications from last year included
video, audio or photo footage created by children and
young people. It was great to hear what they are excited
about and how they will benefit from the funding. Other
successful applications explained what the money was
to be used for and when, and how it would benefit your
children and young people.

WHO CHOOSES THE WINNERS?
Grants are awarded by EVOLVE Advice’s Educational Visits
Advisers, who work with schools every day to support
their visits. We love reading the applications – it’s a
highlight of the year for our team.
Once we’ve reviewed all the applications and chosen the
final 12 recipients, we’ll announce the winners online and
in The EVC Magazine.
